Marsh Risk and Insurance Services is the world's leading insurance brokerage firm with over 50,000 colleagues worldwide. Our role is to assist our clients in selecting, implementing and managing their employee benefits programs. Incorporated into our service has always been to offer assistance to our clients in the benefits enrollment process. As you know, traditionally the enrollment process has been very paper driven, as is typical for most HR functions. To alleviate the burden of paper,

many of our clients now are asking us to assist them in selecting technology solutions (e.g. employee self service), to assist them in a paperless enrollment.

 

Our clients are inundated with marketing materials about the myriad of technology solutions available to them. They need assistance in making good decisions. Since there are so many vendors/software companies that offer on-line enrollment and employee self-service solutions, we have developed a database with an on-line request for information (RFI) that will allow our Marsh colleagues the ability to identify appropriate vendors that can offer these solutions to our clients. We have built this database and are ready to launch a pilot version. We appreciate your participation as one of our pilot vendors. The advantages to you are:

  • Market exposure to up to 2000 Marsh employee benefit colleagues, that in turn influence thousands of companies across the country

  • Completion of the RFI once, as opposed to getting multiple RFI's from our colleagues

  • Increased RFP activity as our colleagues are provided with insight on your organization and its differentiators

Here's how the pilot will work. You have been assigned a username and PW to our VendorKnowHow database. Once logged in, we will ask you (or an individual that you designate) to complete the RFI questionnaire (there are about 100 questions) by February 20th. After (or during) the completion of the questionnaire, we ask that you provide feedback on the process and comments on any RFI questions.
