Employment Practices Liability Insurance (EPLI)
Developing and assuring a fair and compliant work environment has become a major responsibility of all
employers. Risk management is one way employers are working to prevent unnecessary legal and employment
disputes with their employees. If your organization has purchased a Fireman's Fund Employment Practice
Liability Insurance through Professional Risk Co., (PRC), a division of Wexford Underwriting Managers,
Inc., then with this policy you get HR Answers, Inc. as the provider of HR Risk Management services.
Your Owners, Executive and/or Human Resources staff will then have access to a risk-management hotline,
a review of your employment practices, a subscription to the EPLI Quarterly, and risk management training
materials. These services are designed to help you and your organization avoid exposure to employment-related
claims or lawsuits, and to build more positive employee relations.
About Fireman's Fund
Fireman's Fund Insurance Company serves the property and liability insurance needs of North America,
offering a broad range of products and services through a nation-wide network of 50+ major field offices
and in conjunction with independent agents who are our partners.
Founded in 1863, they have been a major force in the industry for more than 130 years. By 1906, they
were one of the few insurance companies to survive and pay all claims arising out of the Great San
Francisco Earthquake and Fire. That early experience set their corporate culture, to be a company with
a commitment to customers.
About PRC
Professional Risk Co., a division of Wexford Underwriting Managers, Inc., markets, underwrites, and
services Employment Practices Liability Insurance and Risk Management Services through alliances with
Fireman's Fund Insurance companies, HR Answers, Inc., and independent insurance agents and brokers. Our
program is based on a unique blending of insurance and risk management concepts to provide cost-effective
coverage for this critical business liability exposure.

Employment Practices Review
Our employment practices review provides you with an organizational "checkup" to ensure that your policies and
procedures help you manage HR risks, and it helps your organization achieve/maintain compliance with state and
federal laws. After the review, HR Answers review specialists provide a detailed report on the areas in which
your staff excel and the areas where your organization is not in compliance and could use some assistance.
Reviewers will provide specific suggestions for improvement, provide samples that can be easily incorporated
into your operations, and work with you to design new policies and procedures if necessary.
Educational Training Materials
Another benefit of having the risk management insurance is the option to purchase four specialized
training manuals at a deeply discounted rate. These programs are based on a "train-the-trainer" model, so you will
be fully prepared to teach managers, supervisors, and employees the basics of discrimination, harassment, and
wrongful termination. A program on Conducting Effective Workplace Assessments is also available for use by management and/or
HR. The materials are available in hard copy and electronic formats, and include video resources at no charge.
